 ETM 5251 - Problem Solving and Decision Making

Prerequisite: Admission to the MSETM program or consent of instructor
This course examines the patterns utilized by successful managers for decision making. These routines involve organizational skills, investigation through questioning and logic, decision making among alternatives, and ensuring the success of decisions.

  • Analyzing potential problems

  • Appraising situations

  • Managing problems of human performance

  • Implementing decision-making processes in an organization
