Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1314 or CHEM 1215 or CHEM 1414. A survey of the
properties, characteristics and applications of metals, polymers,
ceramics and other industrial materials. Terminology, concepts and
principles involved in material selection, specification and processing.
Laboratory activities include data collection and report generation,
determination of material properties, and evaluation of material
characteristics.
